2008
Lüneburg
As a teenager I built my first small websites in Lüneburg, long before it became a profession. That curiosity turned into an apprenticeship as a software developer in 2008, and that turned into almost two decades of practice.
Ten-plus years
Hamburg
More than ten years of it in Hamburg, in the middle of the big web business. I watched from the front row how large companies and agencies fight for visibility, with which methods, which budgets and which technology. That knowledge comes with me.
What is taken for granted in Hamburg is often missing here entirely.
Today
Lüneburg
And I keep the good businesses in my region in mind: honest work, and still barely findable online. With Hiraeth Node Studio I bring what is standard in Hamburg to the shops in Lüneburg, without the agency overhead. That is why this studio exists.
Off the clock
Lüneburg is not just a location, it is home: this is where I live with my wife and children, and a few beds in the garden grow vegetables and fruit. That is how I work, too, not like a faceless agency but like someone from next door who wants to see you do well. Good things take time, and done properly they last. I expect the same from a website.
